Individual Therapy
Together we will work one-on-one to discuss your personal goals you would like to achieve in therapy. If you are unsure of your specific goals but you just know you want to feel better, we will work together to establish and meet those goals.
Couples Therapy
For those who would like to improve their relationship with their partner, couples therapy (using the research-based Gottman Method) is a great way to do so. I’ve worked with couples who were close to separating and found their way back to each other, as well as those who just want to work through current or long-term issues.
The Benefits of Virtual Therapy:
First and foremost, the benefits of virtual therapy start with convenience. Meeting via video means you can cut out the time and stress of commuting to and from the therapy office.
Virtual therapy can even create a sense of closeness between you and your therapist because it gives you the opportunity to share your home/space with your therapist. It allows you to share with them meaningful things in your room, photographs, or artwork on your wall.
Virtual therapy allows for consistency. If you and your therapist can meet over video, there is flexibility to meet with your therapist more regularly. For example, if you’re out of town, feeling sick, or working from home, you don’t necessarily have to miss a session.
With virtual therapy you can create a safe and comfortable therapy space based on your needs. This means you get to decide where you are and how you set up your area—that way it feels unique to your needs.

Assess Your Circumstances
While my areas of expertise may be consistent with your reasons for coming to therapy, we will need to address specific areas that are unique to you and your current situation. From there, we will be able to better determine what type of therapy is right for you, what it will entail, and what it will look like for you in terms of fitting it into your day-to-day life. In addition, we will collaboratively work to create actionable steps you can take outside of our therapy sessions, such as practice a certain technique, or read a specific book, as it is important that you take an active role in your healing.

Build a Relationship
During our first session I will get to know you and you’ll get to know me. I will ask you questions to help me better understand your primary issues and concerns, as well as your history in terms of other events in your life, family, childhood, and career. In order for therapy to be successful, it is imperative we establish a client/therapist relationship that is supportive and honest. In fact, it is the nature—and the quality—of our relationship that will determine the success of your overall therapy goals. The success of the ‘meeting of the minds’ with your therapist is the most accurate predictor of a positive, healthy outcome.
